I found this recently and am wondering if anyone has any input on what is might be on the date and mintmark, doesn't appear to be doubled die but I'm not sure, thanks.

Split plating doubling. Very common effect on post '82 cents.

The plating hasn't split, at least around the date. This is die deterioration doubling. Observe that the field is swollen. That's a tip-off.

Thanks for the responses, I noticed this on a couple other Lincolns but not this pronounced so I just wanted some insight on what it might actually be. Thanks again.
