    The plating is split. Definitely not RPM.

    it is a split plating. do you see the greyish color around the mint mark? it is indicative of the copper plate that took stress and split somewhere along the way in this coins life

    Yes I see the plate splitting but look to the left of the D where the line is the straight line and the top of the D

    the pics are not good enough to determine what you see. I see nothing but plate splitting but I do wish you luck.

    Not D/D, split plate. Notice the gray area around the D. That's exposed zinc. It makes it look doubled, but it's really not.
    We see one or two of this type of post here every day. The answer is always the same.
