1987 D Penny

    Searching through thousands of pennies, I've never seen this type of toning and as shiny. Can anyone tell me if the metal is diff or if the go in looks rare to you. It almost looks material wise that a fingerprint would mold into the coin, meaning If I pressed my thumb against it the impression would stay there.

    I don't see any toning. Beyond that, I don't have the slightest idea what you mean.

    Your 1987 Cent is a Copper plated Zinc. There tends to be Post Mint issues with the plating.
    I do see a miner Misaligned Die Strike on the Obverse side. Nothing major.
