1986 Washington quarter possible error

    Hello

    I am pretty sure this is human damage but has anybody seen a coin damaged like this before?

    It was broken, then stitched back to together with metal thread and
    and tiny welds...see those dots...!

    Looks like struck through. Maybe a paper clip.

    Depends on what caused it. If it's a cracked planchet or a strike through, then yes it could be worth a little. If it's damage, then no, it's only worth face.
