1986 penny, what is in between the columns

    In between the columns to Left of Lincoln.
    I don't think it is a bubble, plating error or die chip.

    Ok, some have looked, why absolutely no responses? If it is junk, just say it is junk. Someone has to have some idea. Isn't that is why we have a forum?

    Strange - looks like someone hiding behind the pillar. I would have guessed some die chips but you said it probably isn't!

    Yes Strange - It could be just be a tiny plating issue. I have seen these a few times. Nothing really major. Simulacrum, just resembles a figure peering out from behind the column. Kind of like an alien. Not trying to make fun of your coin. It's just what it reminds me of.
