1986 P Jefferson Nickle looks like a very nice coin i see some steps and "MONTICELLO" looks doubled/BOLDER as well. Does "FIVE CENTS". Is this coin considered a good grade coin? Dou you guys think its it a DDR?

The steps are not Full Steps designation. And the "Bolder" lettering could be just from circulation wear.

Die Deterioration look to it IMHO.

Not full step. If you have any kinda of hit or ding across the steps you can count it out. Now you can get 5FS. That’s 5 FULL steps

This is a 1950 full steps.

DDD and circ. wear leave the design elements with a “mushy” look...no to the ‘86....

The ‘88 is a much better coin, but I still don’t see any doubling on it...keep the ‘88 and “eighty-six” the ‘86...Spark
