On the reverse side at the bottom ONE DIM MISSING THE E INTO DIME like to some in put of what this might be worth anything
#1 - Cool grease-filled die. I wouldn't pay a premium for it though. #2 - Your poll makes absolutely no sense.
Struck through grease error is when part of the Die, in this example the letter E, is filled with grease or debris. It won't allow the letter to form. It's a minor and common mint error. No big premium really. I would give you $1.00 for it.
It's a neat find, though not worth a lot of money, as mentioned. Though I seldom collect errors or modern coins, I'd pay more than a dollar for it, personally. What's that poll supposed to mean? I wasn't sure how to vote! LOL
My opinon doesn't matter too much lol. I think it is interesting, but I've seen plenty of grease-filled dies in my searches. I wouln't pay anything over face value for it. Others have said they'd pay a bit more. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Or something like that
2 bucks worth to see grandbabies flash that what the look on faces. Furryfrog admit that dim is good stuff
I ain't got grandbabies quite yet, but I agree. At least two bucks for the novelty value. Shoot, I'd swap a pair of silver dimes for it. Of all the dropped letters that could've happened from the gunk in the dies, I think it's funny that this one made it "DIM".
