While searching tonight, this one stuck out as just a little off. Tell me if this looks like a doubled die to you. I went to Wexler's and didn't find it on there. Wexler's Link

Wexler's shows one DDR for this coin and it's on the columns on their site. Here is a picture of the columns on mine.

On two of those pictures I can clearly see two split sheriffs

If it's not a doubled die then what is it?

Perhaps those saying yes can explain how the secondary E just happens to be smaller than the first?

That E is funky but that aside, the R is doubled, do you question that?

    I don't see a "smaller" secondary.

Perhaps it would be telling if you were to explain exactly how each image was taken, including the equipment used.

Whole coin pictures taken with my cell phone and 1 light(circle style bulb w/ magnifying glass in center) positioned above the coin.

Close ups taken with digital microscope. There are 9 led's built into the scope that surround the lens.

Yes, I do... and a quick comparison with the whole-coin photo should suggest why.

Looked at them both and i see the same split in the R in both.

Can you post a better picture of the entire reverse? Or maybe even a clear picture of the top right quadrant. The way the lighting is hitting America in the 1st picture is making harder to see the split.
