1986 canadian cent real or fake

    There's a big gap on the inside of the rim Image499.jpg Image500.jpg Image501.jpg Image502.jpg on both side's,is it normal or a error?

    Thats pretty cooling looking, almost look like someone put another coin inside ..

    I'm pretty sure it's real, there isn't really any financial incentive to counterfeit cents, especially common dates.

    Real & that's normal for the 1983-1989 cents billy b

    I see what you are talking about, I just checked out a 95 canadian and it looks a bit like that, but not so pronounced, so I'd say it is probably normal. I could be wrong though, so i'm sure someone will chime in.

    Very unique coin I must say. Looks real to me; but I would check with the experts here on CT. This coin interests me because it is unusal and different. Great find.

    I assume that you are serious. Hence, it is a real coin, 12 sided. Normal for all Canadian cents for several years in the 1980's.
