I have a 1986 American Silver Eagle with no milk spots and I was wondering what the value is. I was wondering if no milk spots would also add more value. IMG_0838.JPG IMG_0839.JPG

Most people prefer no milk spots. Worth about $30 based on sold listings.

    You don’t want milk spots.

eBay will give you a rundown of what sellers are asking for a raw 1986

Your coin isn't graded, so those prices are irrelevant. Highly unlikely that it would grade 70...

How much do u think it would grade just based off the photos?
(I know it won't be accurate)

Generally speaking, grading Silver Eagles is an iffy proposition unless you think it’ll grade MS70.

You can either buy a membership at ngc/pcgs, or go to a local coin store and they can send it in. I would advise against it for this coin, as it will most likely not grade 70, and it won't be worth it at any other grade. The picture would need to be better for me to guess the grade.

But, how would I grade it?
