1985 Penny

Hey Guys, I have 3 questions. Why is the mint mark on this penny looking like someone drew it in? Is there any double die? Is it worth getting graded.

IMO that's not a mint mark. It was struck in Philadelphia with a worn die and shows Die Deterioration Doubling.

 

I agree with Thomas. A common cent worth a cent. Not something you’d want to send to a TPG.
