1985 maybe double mint mark?

    Die Deterioration issue on a Copper plated zinc planchet.

    It can't be a Doubled Die because mint marks were hand punched into the Die up until 1989 I believe.

    The plating is split under the mint mark.

    It's zinc so that means a worn die.
