1985-D Penny w/ Strike thru?

    Also it’s odd how small the blocks on each side of the bottom of the steps are.

    It's possible but I don't think so. It kinda looks like a scratch from where I'm sitting. It looks like a normal circulated 1985 D cent to me.

    I think it is a scratch also due to the line skips over the field inside the letter A to make a contact mark on the upper right inner side of the A. Your photos seem to show that the zinc core has been exposed.
    Your photos do not provide enough detail for a definitive diagnostics. IMO.

    Yea, I don’t have an electronic microscope I’m just shooting freehand with an iPhone aimed thru a jewelers loupe, sorry the pics aren’t quite perfect. Thanks for the input too!
