1985 D Doubled Die

    Just came across this 85 LMC doubled die. Very nice coin. Don't know much about it, other than it's doubled, and it's very nice. Anyone have any information on it?

    Looks to be DDD - Die Deterioration Doubling IMHO

    Honestly, if you're not familiar with die deterioration doubling then you're not familiar with doubled dies. DDD is caused by wear and tear on the die, stretching the outer devices over time.
