On the obverse of this one there is a line down the right side and its not cut into it

It is a linear plating blister.
Sounds right to me. Fun coin.
And coins aren't "casted".
Oh yes.. They could be casted into a wishing well

The Oxford English Dictionary records casted as being used as the past tense of cast from the Middle English period to the sixteenth century. The latest citation showing its use is dated 1526.
