    Still looks MD to me, MD is almost always at the date and looks like a ghost of the other letters, Doubled Die will be more raised and have split serifs and such.Sorry

    Yep, MD. looks to have taken a hit at the chin at some point and environmental damage is causing it to appear as something else (covering it up).

    Tommy iam a techno tard.I don't know how to IM you;but i know u have a lot of people on here u know.So i have a ? for you.Can u hook me up with someone who has indian head cents.good+.My 14 year old son wants to start a set.I got him two tubes from a PM pusher. Boy what a let down. The ad said dates from 1860's to 1909 They were all 1900's. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP ALL THE TIME
