I have seen coins with the copper layer worn away, but in those cases there wasn't a ridge along the edges like on this coin. So, lamination issue or environmental? Looks like Cyborg Abe! 20200111_213932.jpg 20200111_214128.jpg 20200111_214318.jpg 20200111_214607.jpg 20200111_214630.jpg

Damaged. Plating was Scraped or worn down.
Copper plated zinc cents don't have Lamination issues.. only clad, solid copper, silver and cupro-nickel planchets.

Someone, somehow sanded or grounded it down to give it its current appearance. Damaged
