Can anyone tell me exactly what it is I got here the “crack” appears on both sides but is more dominant in the obverse. It runs around the rim of the coin as well as the center but is harder to see with pictures.
    Ir it is an error, what’s it worth? Thanks a lot! 97477468-2164-4A4B-8165-CEB74BEAE85A.png 149E2606-FA1B-463F-899E-20120F1E0894.png 9F7991CA-85DA-4CD9-A6EE-9388F133F801.png 19B6F5EC-72F5-40CB-83CD-997777D68E4D.png C18CFC87-50F5-4F81-A1D4-FEF35599B2C8.png 26E930E6-D18C-4943-B901-B93121A31374.png 66A1D1E7-05F2-4888-AC83-9BA6559F1757.png

Is it a magician's coin? Can you crack it open?

    Nice pictures by the way!

I was hoping you you were the expert and could shed some light on this coin for me. No luck in cracking it open, but I’ll keep trying. :$

You'll note that the phenomenon you are showing commonly appears over a number of years in the 80's. No premium for it. 1986 P seems to be a particularly heavy year.

Too many people think that die cracks are worth something extra. They are merely the result of an abused and overworked die. ~ Chris
