1984 damaged die with similar die crack

    Here is another 1984d with broken letters on the obverse, and a faint die clash/crack on the c of cent reverse similar to the other one I posted except eds or LDS, much fainted and shorter. They may be unrelated but I am not sure.

    Lamination on the 'N'? Just PMD on everything else?

    The thing that is most unusual is the u in trust.

    Tom it looks like the zinc has rotted under the U and part of the U has come off . these darn zincoln cents after 1982 are bad for the zinc core to rot and then it causes damage to the thin copper plating.
