Sometimes when coins have circulation wear and tear also some Environmental Damage, we tend to see images of stuff that are not actually there. This can happen many times on old coins.

Oldhoopster It seemed like a good idea at the time.

Based on your responses to information CT members provided on a number of previous coins you posted, why not save everyone the trouble and submit it directly to a TPG. It seems you now have a couple of error coins that you think are extremely rare and valuable, so if you send them in as a group you'll save on shipping costs

And as such I've posted a couple times ...the PCGS Submission Form ==> https://www.pcgs.com/submissionform/usaform.pdf

I do see the Marlin. I also see an image of a boy to the right with a fishing pole attempting to catch said Marlin. Written below in extremely microscopic lettering is a story of the little boy who is trying to catch the fish. He ignored his dad, who attempted to teach him how to catch a Marlin and wouldn't listen to his teachings. So in his attempt to catch the Marlin he flaps around attempting to catch the Marlin without the knowledge and skill.

That story just brings a tear to your eye, one of the most endearing and powerful numismatic pareidolic prose of them all. What a wonderful coin that needs to be submitted to PCGS.

I sincerely hope you do find that special error coin. Good luck, but meanwhile listen to the experienced folks here.

Young mag, with all due respect to you, you need to spend your time not posting coins and spend a lot more time learning about the minting process. Everything you post is 100% damaged.

And I too am sorry, but all evidence suggests you're not learning anything, nor do you have any genuine desire to.

If you haven't noticed, patience amongst the membership has been wearing thin as the nonsense piles up, so with this in mind I respectfully suggest that you start making a serious effort to engage before it's too late. Theres no sense in losing the respect of the very people wasting their time trying to help you.
