It was around midnight and the foreman called my on the radio and told me to drive down to the main &quot;lot&quot; and park the truck then crank up the Big </p><p>Bucket Loader and take it downtown to help the truck drivers open up the streets. </p><p>So that&#039;s what I did.....After cleaning up most of downtown, I started cleaning the side roads....Then I couldn&#039;t clean off a man hole cover on this one road....There</p><p>was a lump in the middle of the road where the man hole cover was and I couldn&#039;t</p><p>clean it off....So I backed up....Put the front end loader in drive....and hammered the throttle down to the floor and I lowered the front bucket to the road.....Then...</p><p><b>BAMMM</b>!!...The machine ended up stalling and I ended up busting through the flat windshield with my head....<b>Wooowww</b>.....And <b>OOOWWWW</b>....Found out later that the manhole cover had been been loosened and was wobbling when someone drove over it so a crew took it off, cleaned it all up, and re-cemented it back on...It had not been asphalted because the plants were closed for the winter so they put some temporary sealant around it that really doesn&#039;t work too good....Ahhh...The Good Ol days!!<img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie11" alt=":rolleyes:" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" />[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
