They had well raised numerals and distinct gap between the 3 and the rim. The gap was as wide as the lower half of the numeral three. So there is absolutely no way this could be wear. Considering the width of the gap in the XF coin, there is no way the rim could overlay as this one does. The rim would have to be flattened completely and clearnly the rim is still there and overlays the 3. It is not physcially possible to be wear. This is an error but I do not know how common it is.
