1983D Lincoln Cent Open Mouth/Double Ear? Or just a badly beat up coin?

Stopped to look at this coin when I saw an open mouth. it wasnt till after I took the picture I saw what looked like a double ear. Could this be? Or is it just one beat to heck coin.

as for the 'double ear' -- not. Just the way that the hair looks.

as for the mouth, possible polishing of the die.
