1983 penny wide A M

I have two1983 pennies. One with a close AM & one with a wide A M
(in AMERICA).
Is that anything special?

I've never heard of a Wide AM/Close AM variety on the 83's...
83's should all have wide AM.

 

I heard they stopped making the wide A M in 82 or 83 so there shouldn't be any from 82 on. And I happen to come,across an,83 with a,wide A M. On Google it says it can be worth up to 15 k but I don't know what to believe . Want all the info I can get before going to coin shop.

That would be correct for 1992 not 82.

 

I have two (2) 1983 close AM and about 500 wide AM , you should hold on to your close AM very close just incase.

 

Can you post photos of you '83 close AM pennies?

 

I would like to see the photos. If I generally get caught up with my searching I will look at transitional years and see if I can find anything like this. Obviously nothing or I would have posted it but it is not to say that you may have not found one. Photos!!!!
