1983 LMC Reverse Die Cracks

    So yeah, i was going through The Lincoln Cent Resource while inspecting a gaggle full of circulated LMC’s under the USB microscope I got a little earlier this year. From that and Google I believe I got the right description for what I found in my collection, and yes, I did find a few posts here to compare.

    From what I understand, the error with the coin is fairly common as a result of the previous transitional year and that it bares no premium to yet retire upon. I have two examples not in any great condition but of course I would want confirmation from the community on the rarity and such and that what I got ain’t plating blisters.

    Some people collect die cracks because they like them, not because they are worth anything, which they are not.

    IMO they are die cracks. It seems they occur more frequently on the corners of the Memorial building than other locations.
