1983 LC with PMD, MD or is it a die break?

    Saw this one this morning. Can't decide what it is that I see. I can't find any info in my search efforts, so what do you think?

    Just a simple common Die Break (Chip)
    Nothing else.

    The problem is that you won't find much information on most errors because there can be so many applicable to any one coin. Search for "die break"....What do you get? Search for "PMD"....What do you get? It's a losing proposition! ~ Chris

    @paddyman98 ... @Bluntflame ...this is not a die chip or break...imo...the top of the 1 took a hit, got sheared off/pushed to the right. I’ve seen similar before.

    ...I suppose you could call it “retained PMD” for lack of a better name...Spark
