This quarter has so much going on. In 4 areas directly across from each other on the there are numbers and letters in collar area. Planchet looks split , behind head of eagle on east it looks like eagle tail feathers flipped and struck behind it. You all will know more than me.
If you need certain pics or areas just ask and ill take whatever is needed. Dont say pmd. I've spent some time looking at this and it might be painful. 0611171921c.jpg 0611171920a.jpg 0611171923.jpg 0611171923e.jpg 0611171923c.jpg 0611171914a.jpg 0611171924c.jpg 0611171923b.jpg 0611171924a.jpg 0611171913b.jpg

It looks like someone tried to take it apart. I try to look way too deep into the wrong stuff. Keep it simple. Ill get there.

I agree with keep looking. I have been looking for 31 years and there is one thing I have learned. You may go through hundreds, maybe thousands of coins before you find an actual Mint Error. You will find more coins with circulation wear and tear and some kind of Post Mint Damage more than a good error. That's the frustrating part with new collectors.. They need to understand the differences!

I won't stop. I have too much time invested into it. I'm hooked. I just rather check with you all before I throw one back. If the posts get old or I need to change anything I'm doing to not be a pest just let me know. Thanks again everyone.

    Cool. Thanks.
Question #1. Do you know anything about the 1983-P spitting eable? And if so I think I may have 2. The only thing is though its not just visible from any angle. Does that mean its a lds or just not a spitting? Its the same outline at the one I've used as a reference. Anyone who may know the answer. I will find them and take pics soon.

It's worth at least a quarter dollar.
