    OK. The current national price of copper is $3.31/lb. A cent weighs 3.11g. Copper isn't considered a precious metal so is weighed 16oz to the pound. Multiply 16oz x 28.34g/oz = 453.44g/lb. 453.44/3.11 = 145.8 cents/lb. That makes your cent worth 0.0227 cents of copper, so yes, face value. Or one cent.

    As for the floating roof and missing initials on the back, it could be worth, to the right buyer maybe a couple bucks. After your time, shipping, sellers fees, etc. I suggest you just keep it. Good luck.
