Hi All Thanks for adding to this group! This my first post! I picked up this 1983 P Dime with an off center strike. I was told that the Philadelphia mint was a mess & it was real hard to find a dime that year with (FB) Full Bands.Can anyone help me figure out if this is the real deal? Also if it's got Full Bands who do I send it to for grading? Thank you in advance for any help
It's a decent O/C strike, but I don't think it is FB and judging from the corrosion on the coin, it definitely isn't worth submitting for grading & attribution. See if you can use some acetone to clean it up and put it in a flip. ~ Chris PS. Use the "Report" function on your most recent post and ask the mods to combine both threads.
