    Hi All ,
    This my first post!
Thanks for adding me to your group!
I have a 1983 D FB Off Center Strike Dime. with what I believe Full Bands
Can anyone help me confirm what I see.
Also if it is where should I get graded?

First, welcome to the neighborhood, Jason!

Yes, it is best if you post clear photos of both sides of the coin. Be sure to crop out the unnecessary background before resizing the images. Then click on "Upload a File" to select the photos from your computer.

Even if it is an actual error, it doesn't necessarily mean that it will be worth the cost of grading and attribution. ~ Chris

A nice error coin, but as mentioned not worth grading.
A keeper for sure and it has some value.

    So you're telling me it's not a full band 1983 P Dime
    I shouldn't get it graded?

That doesn't look like FB to me. Not worth sending for attribution.

I didn't look at FB as for Roosevelt dimes, that is almost meaningless to me.

If you were to send it to NGC it may receive Full Torch. They grade the whole torch. Although, the top band may hold the coin back from a FT or FB. Also the coin won't grade high(even with FT/FB) enough to warrant the cost of grading fees.

You have to have a membership at NGC or PCGS to submit the coin. ANACS or ICG may be other options.

Not FB but a nice error. Not worth the cost of grading. Welcome to CT.

Welcome to Coin Talk. Congrats on your find. It's a nice off center coin but it's not FB. Both PCGS and NGC require that both upper and lower bands must show a full split. With NGC they also require the torch to be complete. I'm not sure if NGC will designate a Roosevelt with only full bands and an incomplete torch. Check NGC's site: https://www.ngccoin.com/news/article/6812/learn-grading-dimes/

No I'm not going to start to pay attention to some meaningless criteria that was created to sell overpriced coins to novices.
Roosevelts that have FB are going to be MS coins and proofs, and they
should have FB anyway. Almost all of the heavily circulated Rosies are not going to have FB. XF and AU probably will.
Very few Roosevelts are worth getting graded, it's a very weak series with 1 minor semi key coin in the entire set.
