1983 D Cent (zinc)

    Hey guys I was wondering if this coin would be considered a lamination error or a cud.

    Notice that it starts from the T in trust down through his face to the vest. And the second line runs from underneath his chin down through the bottom of the vest.

    A Cud is a whole different animal and involves a break at the rim. This looks more to be a plating issue. Here is a photo of a cud. lincoln cent cud.png

    At 63 it's like..I can remember it all, just not all at once. LOL. But unlike some I certainly do not know it all. Always learning.
