Hello, I think I just might have something here... Well it was worth the effort. This type of error has happened before. In 1922...with no D. And with the mint making so many types of cents like Large Dates and Small dates and zincs etc etc. It could have happened. Interesting...Enjoy. God Bless Baba Beck.
The reason has no d it is a Philadelphia mint coin 2017 was the first year that they put the (P) mint mark on there.JMO Dave Ps. This might help with small and large dates.
