1982D copper small date found?

My eyes are really bad, I have a jewellers loupe, and a magnification lamp, but fine details would be easier with a scope.

You can post anytime you have a question and a good photo (both sides).
There is plenty of valuable and good information here which you won't get if you don't ask.

 

All you'll get with a scope is pareidolia. Very hazardous to one's numismatic bona fides.

 

Take no offense. I was only trying to familiarize you with some of what happens here in case you see (or experience) any of the common backlash over nonsense.

I believe Corgi's point was (at least in part) that such microscopes (USB) are not all they're cracked up to be, and can be particularly true for someone using them to search for varieties. Unfortunately, such things often give the appearance of notching or doubling where none is present, and this is in addition to the generally very low quality images they produce. If you do look into buying one, just be sure to understand what you're getting into.

 

I use my cell phone and just zoom in using live view.
2 decades ago I could read a dime from 5+ feet away. Now ... I'd need a few seconds to realize it's a dime.

 

Lol, fair enough. Thanks for all the great advice everyone. Yeah, I typically use my phone to zoom if the 30x jewellers loupe isn't enough, either that or i let my cameraman look at the coims, he has better eyes than I do.
