First, I thought this was worth WAY more than what the Red Book says and secondly, do I have what I think I have? Looks 100% to me but I am nowhere as knowledgeable as most of you guys.

It looks like a normal Copper Plated Zinc Cent that weighs 2.5 Grams.
Small Date minted at the Philadelphia Mint.

What do you think you have? o_O
What worth does the Red Book state it has? o_O

I thought that I had the rarest of the small date 1982's but after 2 more minutes of research it seems it's the 1982-D small date that's worth some money and it seems I have one of those also. The Red Book has the 1982 small date at $0.85 in better condition that mine but anyway . . . see my 1982-D zinc small date also not in the best shape. Again, I'm not sure WTF I have but i know that the page in my book has ALL the 1982 holes filled. :)

Which one is worth the most?

The one that doesn't have a hole for it. 1982D small date BRONZE. There has only been 1 found so far.

That's worth about 1 cent. In MS the 1982 small date zinc Philly,
is worth more than the 1982 small date copper Philly because of
problems with the new zinc coin. About .50 cents on the copper
and .80 cents on the zinc. Your coin is not mint state.
Personally I would save that coin in a 2x2 coin flip, because it was the last piece in my 7 coin set and I only have 1 of them.
But it doesn't have any value.
They made 17 billion cents in 1982 and very very few are worth more than .01 cent.

You need to find a 1982D Small Date Bronze, that is 3.11g +/- tolerance to have hit the 'jackpot',

:) Now that raises 2 more questions.

By Bronze, do you mean Copper?
Which coin would you put in the 2x2?

I about crapped my pants when I found the last penny to fill the hole all the time thinking, this coin collecting is easy. LOL

Anyway, to ALL of you as always, thanks for all the advice and help.

The old alloy we tend to refer to lincoln pennies/cents as copper are bronze. Though 95% copper, the actual planchet alloy is also got tin (plus a bit of zinc) in it, so the mix is technically 'bronze'.

I think the one 1982-D small date copper is a little light.
2.98g or something if I recall.

Which coin would I put in a 2x2?
The coin I am referring to is the 1st photo. The 1982 small date Philly zinc.
That was the hardest one of the 7 to find.
Sorry I wasn't clear there are 2 diff photos. They are all pretty much worth 1 cent. Except for the 1982-S large date proof coin, and any coin in mint state condition.
