I have been keeping these. I don't know why really. I just do. I guess mainly cause it's only a penny so not tying up much money. I think I might be wasting my time but what do you think?
I think I know what some of you might say... high grade will have some premium. So far I don't have any in high grade, such as mint state. I have almost a roll now. I wonder if circulated examples by the roll might have any premium, or in the near future.
I think I might have answered my own question lol... 1982 Zinc Cent Rolls I'm going to buy some uncirculated rolls.
Save 'em if you like 'em. That's what my Mom did. Recently she gave me her "collection" -- 1,000's of unsorted circulated Lincoln cents. I examined every one. I found a nice red-toned 1912, a not-so-special 1916, and a verdigris-afflicted 1926-D. That's it. Nothing else remotely interesting or valuable. The zinc cents I fed to Coinstar. Not sure what to do with the wheat cents. Maybe bulk-package by decade and sell 'em. Any takers?
