See we don't know if these coins exist yet but they could. They did change the composition that year and it is possible that their were other test pieces made but never used. Their is plenty of great info out there about test coins and I encourage you to check it out. As for if your coin is the real deal or plated, I will not comment, you said that you have done test and you believe it was real and it seems no ones opinion is going to change that other then NGC.
