1982 Small Date Copper Penny

    Hello All,

    I found something spectacular today in pocket change I had to get about 20 diff opinions so I need a few more so as I know I'm not sleeping. Before I A. Get it graded. Or B. Sell it for cheap and have a nice christmas. Please advise your opinion and if you would like to own it advise me what you would donate to get it Lol..

    Nope.. As the others stated, that's a Large Date.

    They made billions of those.
    But on the plus side there's only 1000 threads here claiming the exact same thing.
    The small date 1982 has a very delicate shaped 2. The large date has the sloppy 2 without the swan's neck curve.
    This is the small date 2, compare it to yours.

    If ever a 3rd example is ever found it would be the most exciting day in CoinTalk history! More exciting than someone finding a true 1969 S DDO!

    Ya think?
    I would think that both would be exciting.
    Both are overplayed by newbies, but what fun it would be to see one of them right here on CT.
