During my evening walk I found this penny on the ground. In great shape for its age I think. I remember something about small or large date 1982 pennies. What would this one be considered and is it anything special or not?
The zincs often have that bright plating. In 100 years after the corona virus has wiped out all of humanity, mutants will be digging 1982 pennies out of the ground and using them for fertilizer. They only made 17 billion of them. They shouldn't even be worth 1 cent.
Yeah, I remember I was like in 2nd grade when those pennies first came out. I can’t even imagine how many we ruined by scraping them on the cement because we thought it was cool that doing so made them turn silver.
