This coin is very interesting. There is a spot left of "IN" in in God we trust that looks like a small cud. Upon further examination I noticed on the edge a dent that is centered in the edge and next to the dent is liberty on clad edge and 1982 under liberty copper. Any thoughts?

    Yes, that's a rim ding/bump at 8:30 -

Not sure what else you're pointing us to.

The coin is damaged. No need for any more images.

The slight bulge to the left of the I of IN is probably
just the metal pushed into the coin from the
    edge ding/bruise.

If not, it's still not any error -

The Ding Caused It, based on what I can see in the photos.

    That's a rim ding. It's damaged and it's worth a quarter.

Here are more pics of the edge. Full circle. There are numbers, letters and other debris in the edge all the way round.

It’s a regular circulated quarter with circulation damage. Worth 25 cents. Nothing more than that.

Sorry, but what you see in the reeding/on the reeded edge,
    is just numismatic pareidolia.

After about 4 or 5 beers I then might start seeing these numbers and letters in the edge you speak of.
