    Large date copper 82 is common, worth about 1 cent.

    thank you, I edited the post because I have a 1982 Zinc small date, I am going to post in a new thread, in hopes of it being a rare one, ty

    Also not rare. The rare one is the copper 82 D SMALL date. None of the zinc ones are rare, none of the no mintmark ones are rare, none of the large dates are rare. Only the 82 D small date copper.

    I pick through and look at all my change, then pitch it in a coffee can. Just when I think that I have exhausted all hope of finding anything rare, someone has to enlighten me on another variety. If this keeps up, I'm gonna wear out the lid on can.

    Although not rare, the 1982 small date zinc Philly,
    has value in mint state grades.
