1982 large date

    Hi, hope everyone is well. This'82 shows two separate 2's on the date if you blow up the picture, can you tell me anything more about it? Such as do you see any other doubling? I think it's pretty cool regardless. :jawdrop: IMG_20190324_220638~2.jpg IMG_20190324_220638.jpg

    Might be double die. But don't be disappointed if it isn't; I'm not very good at naming errors and such. Lets wait and see what the experts say.

    A minor misaligned Die caused the weak rim by the date and the double thick rim on the opposite side. As for the 2 it looks like a plating blister.

    Thank you both, forgot to mention it's a bronze weighing at 3.1. I weighed all my 82's, 83's and 89's...:dead:
