Are you referring to the half missing one of the designer's initials? Ordinarily, when just one of the designer's initials is missing, it is the result of a grease-filled die. This really isn't worth anything over face value. There are other instances, mainly the 1972 & 1982, that are missing both of the designer's initials. These will command a premium over face value because they were the result of an over-polished die. (I think!) Chris
