1982-d small date ddo

Could this be a 1982-d small date that has the date double stamped? Would that make some small dates look almost like large dates?

A Doubled Die variety has absolutely nothing to do with being double stamped.
It is doubling on the hub then transferred to the Die when it was created.

No. That is a normal Large Date.

 

I think your coin is a large date, as the date is close to the edge of the coin.
Small date is set away from the edge.
