Can anyone tell me the value of this dime?
Also beneath the AMERICA on the reverse looks to be some lettering, or doubling of the E and C possibly the A?? Opinions needed please.

Appears to be a regular circulated clad dime, the one I compared it to shows machine doubling, no added value for that. that's my opinion. 10 cents. 542 million produced, it would need to be high grade for marketing.

M/D I learned the difference a while ago I thought because you could see two it was a D/D. If it was you could right off the bat the letters have to be side by side not one on top and so you see the one on bottom. Look at the 1955 D/D Lincoln wheat cent and you will see. As far as the coin is worth red book says MS-65 2.50 I would say yours is 1.30. It still has bands that helps.
