Is there any premium on an 82 small date over the large date variety - AKA, which varieties are less common?
Yeah - but I also read where someone mentioned the Browns would go 8-7 this year - I'm still laughing on that one!!
not for sure think copper is harder to find and the small but i am not for shure . hope you are are having a good day
The 1982P Small Date ( brass alloy ) has a premium over the zinc of about $10.00 in MS65. But in MS67 the value jumps to $1500.00! That is guide value currently but in the end it's all about demand. Under MS65 there is only a minor difference in pricing. Those are the better of these. The 1982D small date is around $7.00 in MS65.
Do you have a subscription to that or do you get it on-line? Can you check a price for me? I would like to see how the price compares to the sites I've been looking at. @Jacob dennis - Sorry to hi-jack your thread but this is somewhat related. You might find it interesting.
Under MS65 they all tend to be common and under $1.00 in MS65. Once you get to MS67 they jump quickly but the 1982D small date zinc is the lowest of the group at $30.00. Rolls are listed as 1982D large date zinc at $35.00 with a low of the 1982P large date brass alloy at $2.50 a roll.
