After bad mouthing eBay last week, I may have to back off a bit with this week's finds I purchased. Got this Small Date 82 Zincoln that's in pretty good shape in a commemorative set. This set also says it has a Copper 82 Lg Date weighing in at 3.2g that I thought should be bronze? The toning on it is brilliant pink & yellows and I'll post it later.
Don't worry, I'm not going to post my entire set of what I think might be worth millions for all of you (especially you) to see. I try to keep it to a minimum so I don't get on a list or something.
"Copper" is just another numismatic misnomer, kind of like uncirculated being used to describe an MS coin. Cents are not pure copper but are an alloy.
That's great. However, my post had absolutely nothing to do with Paddy, but was in response to a question YOU asked in your OP.
