1982 & 1983 Washington Quarter Grade input

    I just figure there are people here that can chart the different die pairs with the D and then lay it over his coin to see if it matches. It is unusual for a blast white coin to have some crud around the MM but it's possible. I'd have to see the various die pairs and D positions to be able to make a judgment.
    The album looks great. But sometimes they sneak one in on you. Or someone pulls a switch.

    I'd love to see those map overlays on this coin and the known 32-D die pairs.

    One usually starts with local position of the MM, then moves out to the leaf tips and position of the Arrow tips.
    I haven't searched the MM position, but this could be toning from an attempt at a cleaning.

    There is similar crud under the N I T E D at the top left.
    I think cleaning is almost 100% here. You can't get these coins, uncleaned in
    blast white. They weren't put away 90 years ago to protect them, they were displayed and routinely cleaned.
    But as I stated the map overlays are pretty definitive, and that would be almost 100% if this was a genuine D and not a reg 1932 with a D added as suggested.
