I do understand this is difficult with my poor quality photos. Any insight is appreciated.

Proof coins are tough to grade, especially in pictures. The plastic on the 2 x 2 does not help.

Thanks Greg. Yeah you're right I should definitely take it out of the two by two and get some better photos. The two by two does have some marks on it. Coin looks fantastic to me.

Be very careful when you are taking it out of the 2X2! Many very nice coins have been ruined by a staple strike because people have thought they were being careful enough (me included). Take all of the staples out before you try to remove the coin. Don't be in a rush! Love the Susan B!

Thank you Bambam, I will be very careful and be sure to wear rubber gloves handling by the rim.

If I had to guess, I would say PF67/PF68. But again, it is tough with proof coins.

Thank you very much Greg. I know it's really tough in pictures and also you're not able to tilt the coin back and forth viewing its cartwheel luster. I like your guess, she sure is a Beautiful Gem.

The S looks like the Type 1 in post #7.
But in post #1 it looks like Type 2.

The bottom of the serif is round and not flat. I also have a 1981 S Type 1 I could picture to alleviate any confusion if necessary.

When I look back at this post and read it again I am embarrassed of myself. I was wrong in my reply to you. if the mint mark looks completely different to you from one picture to the next then I took poor pictures and should have waited until I achieved good pictures before posting at all asking folks for there help. Your post showing the different style mint marks was an excellent educational addition to my thread and I thank you for sharing your time and knowledge. apologize Michael K and hope you forgive me. I was wrong.
