Is the strange lines on the coin a mint error? Anyone have an idea of what it is or what has created it? Thank you in advance!!!
It did come from the mint in that condition, but that's because it was struck by dies that were pushed WAY beyond their usable life. It's very common.

Can you tell any better with this pic? Gosh it's hard to get light in the right direction, hold a magnifying glass, and take a pic of it. But the line almost looks as if it runs through the whole word???
