1981 Lincoln Cent "Two Face" GTG

    Yes, I was already reminded of that. Now these are different than the clads starting in 1964.

    Well, friends, the folks in Newport Beach came back on this piece. They gave it a STRAIGHT GRADE, and it graded higher than I expected! MS66RB (3/1 at PCGS)! The images came back pretty neat as well.

    What is a "two face" Lincoln cent?

    Just a description of the toning on the obverse, reminiscent of the Batman villain of the same name.

    Just want to say CONGRATULATIONS on the nice grade! I think PCGS did a slightly better job of capturing the full toning on the obverse than I did ;) - it was a tough one!

    I'm surprised at 66. The strike seems a little mushy for such a grade. I would have said 64RB, but I expected them to detail it for AT. Cool coin. :)
